Found Footage Magazine – Número #1 Octubre 2015

La publicación Found Footage Magazine ya ha anunciado los contenidos escritos que formarán parte de un primer volumen que incluye un monográfico especial dedicado al cineasta Bill Morrison. Un amplio estudio sobre su filmografía, escrito por Matt Levine, y una entrevista realizada por el equipo de redacción de la revista conforman este profundo análisis sobre la obra del artífice de Decasia (2002). Seis ensayos sobre las connotaciones de la apropiación, el archivo y el reciclaje audiovisual –como el protagonizado por el cine militante de Santiago Álvarez–; cuatro artículos sobre propuestas fílmicas actuales alrededor del found footage–como el mítico Festival of (In)appropiation–; seis reseñas de piezas contemporáneas –como el clásico instantáneo A Movie by Jen Proctor–; y dos reseñas de libros editados recientemente sobre el reciclaje de imágenes y sonidos, forman el grueso de una revista escrita simultáneamente en inglés y en español que saldrá a la venta en octubre de 2015.
